We Find Tracking Bugs Before Your Ad Spend Does
Silent tracking failures cost the most
The bugs that show up as green checks in Tag Assistant but bleed data silently in production.
Events with empty payloads
Tag fires "successfully" but sends null values for currency, items, or user_data — data looks fine, reports are useless.
Intermittent Safari/iOS failures
30% of your iOS users don't fire purchase — ITP + first-party cookie issues that only show up on real devices.
Consent mode blocking everything
GDPR consent defaults set too strict. EU traffic reports zero conversions because every tag is denied by default.
Third-party scripts overwriting dataLayer
A chatbot, popup plugin, or abandoned-cart script clobbers window.dataLayer — your events vanish silently.
A forensic debug session with a senior analyst
90 focused minutes on your site, with real debugging tools — not guesswork.
-
Live screen-share debug
Your site, our tools. No back-and-forth screenshots.
-
Full toolchain
Tag Assistant + Meta Pixel Helper + GA4 DebugView + Chrome DevTools Network tab.
-
Network request inspection
We inspect the actual JSON payload hitting Google/Meta — not just whether the tag fired.
-
Consent mode edge cases
Test EU consent denied → granted transitions. Verify default states.
-
Mobile + iOS Safari testing
Real-device reproduction, not emulator. ITP conditions tested.
-
Written fix plan
Specific file/line references, code snippets, and priority matrix. Not just "it's broken".
Recent examples from actual sessions
Shopify Plus double-firing Purchase
Theme + third-party app both loading Meta Pixel. Inflated ROAS 42%. Fixed by removing theme block, routing through GTM.
WP consent plugin blocking GTM
Cookie banner defaulted all categories to "denied". 100% of EU conversions missing. Reconfigured consent mode v2 defaults.
iOS Safari cookie loss cross-domain
Sessions breaking www → checkout.example. ITP dropping client-ID cookies. Fixed with first-party domain extension.
React SPA missing virtual page_view
Client-side routing not firing page_view in GA4. Landing page only. Fixed with history listener + manual event push.

Debug session questions
How is debugging different from a full audit?
A tracking audit is a broad written report on your setup. A debug session is a live, deep-dive working session on a specific problem — we open your site, reproduce the bug, and fix it (or write up the fix plan) in real time.
What if my issue only happens on mobile Safari?
We specifically test on iOS Safari, ITP conditions, and private browsing mode. Many bugs only show up there — we have a device setup for reproducing them.
Can you debug a specific user complaint?
Yes. Share the user's flow (what they did, what happened), and we reproduce the scenario with real debugging tools attached. Great for cart-abandonment or funnel-drop investigations.
Will you record the session?
Yes — full screen + audio recording, shared with you after. Great for training the rest of your team or handing off to a developer.
What if you can't fix it on the call?
Some bugs need code changes on your side. We hand off a written fix specification — specific file/line references, code snippets, and test cases — that your dev can implement. Follow-up call free if they have questions.
How many events can you debug in 90 minutes?
Typically 3–5 specific events in depth, or a full funnel-level review. If you have more, we schedule multiple sessions or upgrade to a full audit.
Your events aren't firing right. Let's find out why.
